The King that built the Taj had a wife that died young in child birth

He was devastated

Before she died she had three wishes from him

That he would never marry again

That he would take care of her 14 children

And that he would build her a heaven on earth

So he went to work building the Taj Mahal

One of the 7 architectural wonders of the world

Her resting place was originally named Mumtaz Taj Mahal after her

But the king wanted everyone to call it just the Taj Mahal to keep her name sacred

This reminded me of what we often say about heavenly mother

That we don’t know her name because Heavenly Father wants to keep her name sacred

That never quite sat right because in my mind it felt like she was being hidden from us

But this brought more clarity

She is His Queen

He is not hiding her, but honoring her

And that doesn’t mean that she is any less involved in our lives.

I’ve experienced that feeling her love is Heaven on earth.
