just ask

The other day we went to a Moroccan McDonald’s

I went back to order some ice cream and went to order water too

But then realized that it wasn’t clean to drink

So I paused and smiled

And said that’s all actually

The worker looked at me in anticipation 

And encouragingly said “just ask, it’s okay!”

And I wondered 

If God thinks that too

When we hesitate
