Jagat lama - he is seriously incredible!! While waiting for dinner we watched a movie about his life and how he had worked with some other boys from his local village to create a health clinic for those in the rural area when they weren’t leading treks up Everest. Honestly is so difficult to capture how I felt watching this video.

The love that the Nepalese people have in their hearts and their eyes is unbelievable.

One of the men became so emotional when talking about his life growing up and his mom.

He said he would come home and she would be sitting in the corner of the small 2 room home making rice and bread.

And he would sit and talk with her and those are some of his happiest memories.

Life can be that simple.

His dad fell and had internal bleeding

They were too far from a hospital to get help. As he died he called his son over and told him to bring healthcare to the people

So that became his life mission to fulfill his dad’s dream.

They had to create the first road to the village.

They showed all the diseases that the rural people were suffering with. And the way that most people would die if they got sick.

They showed the joy of when the health clinic building was finished

And the sorrow when it was destroyed by an earthquake

And the hope of being able to rebuild
